McCain’s strongest showing is in Performance.
When it comes to having the most respect from other countries, preparation to be president, relevant experience, intelligence and having the best plan for the war in Iraq, McCain’s average score (34 percent) is more than twice that of the next closest candidate, Giuliani at 16 percent. Gingrich and Romney are in single digits.
McCain’s biggest strengths in this area are most prepared to be president (39 percent); most relevant experience (41 percent), and best plan for the war (40 percent).
Giuliani comes close to McCain in only one area. On the question of who would have the most respect from other countries, Giuliani gets the support of 25 percent, just a single point behind McCain.
